GIOPACT - Group for Equal Opportunities on Architecture, Science and Technology

The aims of the group are as follows: to identify the forms of gender discrimination and the causes of the lesser representation of women in the world of science and technology; to design tools and initiative proposals that contribute to equal opportunities for women in education and the labour market, in terms of access to work and promotion and salary and work conditions; to raise awareness of and provide training in gender issues; to devise proposals that promote the greater participation of women in science and technology; and to apply tools and methodologies to other forms of discrimination in given social groups, or for reasons other than gender (culture, race, religion, etc.)
