Alfaro Pozo, Rocío

Rocío Alfaro-Pozo is Assistant Professor at the Department of Management (DOE) and the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering (IOC) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). He holds the Master's Degree in Quality Assessment and Management in Higher Education and the degree in Industrial Engineering, and a PhD in Business Administration and Management. His investigation focuses mainly on the area of production and logistics operations, specifically on the application of operational research techniques (quantitative methods) to solve sequencing and balancing problems of assembly lines. Within this framework, he has participated in several public and private research projects and has published many articles in top-ranked journals as well as prestigious scientific editorials and international conferences.
