Dr. Domingo Biel received the B.S, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunications engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain, in 1990, 1994 and 1999, respectively. Since 1998, he is an Associate Professor in the Electronic Engineering Department, Technical University of Catalonia (Spain), where he teaches power electronics and control theory. His research fields are related to nonlinear control and its application to renewable energy systems and power electronics.
