Ferrer Martí, Laia

Laia Ferrer Marti is a senior professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). She is an Industrial Engineer and Doctor from the UPC. Her research focuses on the development and application of Quantitative Methods to design and optimize systems with a practical orientation and application to real problems. In terms of areas, she has worked mainly in transport and industrial logistics and renewable energy electrification systems. She has participated in several national research projects, being in some leading researcher, has directed several doctoral theses and has published numerous articles in indexed international journals.
