Palomo Avellaneda, Leopold

Leopold Palomo-Avellaneda received the MS degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), and the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) from the University of Girona. He currently is pursuing the PhD. He has been involved in research projects at the Department of Mathematics (2002-2003) and at the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering since 2002, where he has enrolled as research assistant of the Robotics Division since 2009. He has been involved in teaching activities at the Faculty of Library and Information Science. His areas of interest include computer science and industrial robotics, free software (especially for application to robotics or scientific studies), kinematics and dynamics of robots, teleoperation and mobile platforms.
