Mas Casals, Orestes

Orestes Mas received the B.S. degree in Telecomunication Engineering and the PhD degree in Signal Theory and Communications from the Universistat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 1990 and 1997, respectively. He has been involved in teaching activities in Circuit Theory as Assistant Professor since 1991 and as Associate Professor since 1997. He joined the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering (IOC-UPC) in 2013 where he develop research activities in robotics. His current interest areas include free/libre software, real-time systems, embedded systems, computer-based control systems and specifically fuzzy control.
